A is for Apple...

Day One of the blog from A to Z and what to begin with, well apples of course. Not just any apple, this is a query letter about a novel I wrote which was orignally titles Addison's Apple, enjoy!!

Jail is the last place fifteen-year-old Addison Solomon expected to wind up when she ran away. Not that this is a big surprise, her life has been on a downward slide since her drug-addicted aunt, the only family she’s ever known, died, leaving her alone.

When her long-lost father appears, whisking her away with him to his mansion and family in sunny California, Addison soon discovers that her new wealthy relatives are not exactly people she should trust.  It seems that "daddy" has special plans for her. He has arranged a marriage for her with his boss's sociopath son, Jackson Van Buren--all in the name of financial gain: partnership of a successful law firm.

Thrown into a world of betrayal, corruption, and manipulation, Addison struggles to navigate a path to safety and a home of her own. But escaping proves to be a risky venture, after Jackson’s father reveals that if she doesn’t comply, her new family will be torn apart, beginning with her father heading straight to jail.

ADDISON's APPLE is an 85,000-word commercial fiction novel.
